Fire extinguishers

This class provides an overview on types of fires, classes of fire extinguishers, and how to safely use an extinguisher. This includes a classroom presentation and a hands on portion on the proper use of fire extinguishers and determining whether it is safe to fight a small fire or if evacuation is necessary.

Skills you will learn:

• Act quickly and safely.
• Knowing when to fight a small fire or evacuate.
• Identifying fire classes and extinguisher types.
• P.A.S.S. method to properly deploy a fire extinguisher.

Course Cost: $40.00/ per person ($20/ per person if combined with CPR)

Certification: This is a not certification class.  A certificate of attendance can be provided if requested.
